Ella Mokgalane SACE CEO was the guest speaker at URCSA Valentine Bouquet at Zamdela Multi-purpose Centre in Sasolburg Free State on Saturday 24 February 2018.

As the month of love come to an end the CEO was invited to address the guests about Love in a dysfunctional society and her core message was on how do we love in an environment where sexual harassment of our children and learners is rife in our schools, families and even in churches.

She raised the number of key issues to enlighten the community about the extent at which the perpetrators use Power Relations, Culture and Poverty of families to justify the sexual abuse misdemeanours. Mokgalane cautioned the community to never fall trap and report any sexual related cases to the law enforcement agency as early as they pick up any signs in order to protect the future of our children.

SACE Codes of Professional Ethics brochures were distributed to equip the community with information about sexual abuse. For any Teacher and learner sexual related cases the community is encouraged to report to ethics@sace.org.za or call our call centre 012 663 9517
